Diminishing Jim lends a helping hand
On March 12th, 2011, Diminishing Jim returned to Corey's Catsup & Mustard . It was one of the MOST eclectic sets we've ever done. We
did covers we've never played before as requested by peeps in attendance, such as: Man In the Box - Alice In Chains; Alive - Pearl Jam &
Livin' On A Prayer - Bon Jovi.
The most rewarding part of the night was donating a $100 to our friend Maggie Hoffer. Maggie is a Leukemia survivor that is part of a
"Team In Training" sports charity program. She will be hiking down the Grand Canyon on May 23rd to raise money for the Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society. Please visit her fund raising website to learn more and make a donation like we did!

Diminishing Jim returned to the Hartford Advocate Best Bar in Manchester - Corey's Catsup & Mustard - on Friday December 3, 2010. The
band debuted two new original songs and several new covers, including an impromptu (by request) version of Day Tripper by the Beatles.
Double Trouble at Cook's Cafe
Diminishing Jim and fellow original rockers This Time Down "battled" to the end at Cook's Cafe in Naugatuck, CT on Friday August 20,
2010. Not sure who "won" so a rematch is being scheduled.

Diminishing Jim Rocks Toad's Place in New Haven
Diminishing Jim rocked the legendary Toad's Place in New Haven on May 22, 2008. The band showcased songs from their upcoming CD
as well as a surprise cover of Voices Carry by Til Tuesday. Also on the bill were Megahertz, Hatt Trick, Echoing August, Carnival of Sin
and Tragedy.
Illumina Records Compilation CD Featuring She Said
The Diminishing Jim song She Said is featured on the Illumina Records Providence Rockers For Life compilation CD of Providence area
bands. Proceeds from the CD benefit the Ground Control anti-drunk driving campaign.
Diminishing Jim CD News
As planned, Diminishing Jim entered the studio on March 25, 2006 to begin recording its first CD. In a single day the band recorded drums
and scratch tracks for 12 original songs as well as a cover of Peter Gabriel's Shock the Monkey. Over the summer and fall the band
finalized guitar and bass lines and laid down the final vocal tracks. The final mixing is now complete.
